NCHS is where I have found my home. This is my 4th year here and my 12th year teaching healthful living along with being the Varsity volleyball coach. My journey all started at NC A&T where I received my Bachelor’s in Sports Science and played volleyball for 4 years. I continued on to receive my Masters in Education while being the all girls strength coach at NC A&T State University and assisted with football. I left the strength and conditioning world to teach Health and PE. I will be pursuing my ADD ON license for masters in administration in summer 2024. My passion is helping children grow and helping other adults adapt to the ever so changing world to meet the educational needs of ALL students. I have a husband and 5 kids. 3 biological and 2 blended. I love coffee and volleyball.
This is my 33 year teaching Physical Education and my 10th year at Nash Central High School. I also serve as the Head Football Coach. My wife Lindsay is an Assistant Principal with Nash County Public Schools. I have a daughter, Hope, who is a senior and a son, Winston, who is a sophomore at Nash Central.

This is my second year in the school system but my first in the classroom. I graduated from Monroe College with a sports management degree in 2018 and transferred to Indiana State University and graduated in 2021 with a Sports and Recreational Management degree. I also was a college athlete and it taught me that paying attention to the small details are critical. I am a alumni of Nash Central High School, I graduated in 2017. I strive to be the best version of myself everyday.
