Mr. Allen

This is my 25th year as a mathematics teacher, the 11th here in Nash County. This is my 28th year coaching high school baseball, and have also coached football and basketball earlier in my career. I attended and played baseball at High Point University and Barton college for my undergraduate degree, and completed my teaching licensure at East Carolina University. I met my wife at Disney World in 1998, have been married 18 years, and we have two sons Caleb (17) and Brody (15). We enjoy traveling the country by vehicle every summer and are 7 states away from having it all travelled.

Mr. Brewer

This will be my 19th year teaching and my 2nd year at Nash Central High School. I am a graduate of East Carolina University and have a Master's Degree in Physical Education. I currently teach math, and am also the Head Varsity Softball Coach and Head Girls Golf Coach. I am married to my wife Teresa, and we have two daughters Rylee and Reagan.

Ms. Ferrell

This year, I completed my 24th year of teaching and beginning year 25. Twenty-two of those years I was teaching mathematics. My undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Education was earned at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I earned a Masters degree in Middle Grades Math and Science Education from East Carolina University. Lastly, I completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics at Barton College. In high school, I was all area in basketball and all conference in softball. At Carolina, I ran track. I coached one year of Volleyball in my early years of teaching in Nash County. I have a daughter , Megan Lucas London , married to Matthew London with a daughter, Avery Kate London. Also, I have a son, Brett Tyler Lucas married to Chelsea Lucas with a daughter, Madelyn Brooke Lucas and a son, Jackson Ian Lucas.

Mrs. Jenkins

This is my 14th year of teaching math, ALL at Nash Central High School. I graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College with a B.S. degree in Mathematics, a B.S. degree in Biology, and a Secondary Education Certification. I continued my education and earned a Masters of Education Degree in Mathematics Education from NC State University. In addition, I have earned my National Board Certification in Young Adulthood Mathematics. At NCHS, I teach Math and coach Women's Basketball with Coach Cash. I met my husband, Josh, at NCWC. We have 3 daughters (Jayden, Skylar, Brayleigh) and another daughter on the way!

Mr. Lyndon

This is my fourth year teaching Math and my first year at Nash Central. I graduated in 2019 from Guilford College with a degree in mathematics. I completed the Educator Residency Model at East Carolina to gain certification as a teacher.

Ms. Valentine

I've been teaching math for 29 years. I was born and raised in Ahoskie, NC. I graduated from Bennett College with a B.S. degree in Mathematics Education. I have two wonderful sons, Derrick and Everette.
