I am a graduate of a State University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Physics. This is my third year at Nash Central High School, but I have been in the teaching profession for 21 years. I believe that to be a great teacher, you have to treat teaching as a vocation, not a profession.

I graduated from Church Teachers’ College in Jamaica with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education having a specialization in Physics. I have been teaching for 5 years and I am excited to be a part of the Bulldogs family. I believe science is the medium to understand the beauty within the world.

I have been teaching Science at Nash Central High School since 2004 after beginning my teaching career at Rocky Mount Prep in 2002. I graduated from the University of Miami (FL) in 1991 with a B.S. in Marine Science & Physics, studied Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences at Pennsylvania State University, and earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching from ECU in 2006. The well-known quotations ““Education is not the learning of facts, but training the mind to think.” and “Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better” describe both my teaching philosophy and my personal approach to life.
